Spring Season:    Late February and runs through early June 
Summer Season:   Mid-June and runs through the end of July
Fall Season:         Late August and runs through October 31

 

Where will practices be held?
Practices and Games will be held at fields near the area you live in.  The availability of the fields is subject to the discretion by Loudoun County Parks and Recreation or the Town of Leesburg Parks and Recreation.  Please refer to Fields for more information.

Under what rules does this league play? All rules of Little League International (LLI) shall apply, except as modified by the 2017 Local Rules.

How often will practices be held?

Practices will be held twice a week (one weeknight and one weekend) before games begin.  After games begin, Sunday practices and any available weeknight time slots may be scheduled. 

Will we be able to pick our practice night?
Practice nights will be determined based on the number of teams and the fields available on any given night. That night may vary from week to week.  Specific practice night requests will not be accepted.


How often will games be held?
Games will generally be scheduled with two games during the week, weather permitting.  Our schedule will not be envisioned until we receive our field allocation from County.

Due to weather and field closures, we may need to re-schedule games.  Games will be re-scheduled based on field availability and may be on Sunday afternoon.  Game scheduling will take priority over practices.

What are the differences between a Spring LGLLS season and a Fall LGLLS season?
During a Spring season, scores and standings are reported and displayed on this website.  Teams in the AA through Juniors divisions compete in a single-elimination playoff to determine League Divisional  Champions.  All players in T-ball through Majors divisions receive participation trophies and team pictures are taken.

LGLLS's Fall season is more instructive and less competitive than in the Spring season. Scores and standings are not displayed and there are no playoffs at the end of the season.
